Ordering repeat prescriptions

We do not take repeat prescription requests over the phone.

Collecting your prescription

We aim to have all prescription requests actioned within 48 hours.

The Manor Surgery is set up to use the electronic prescription service (EPS). This means that the surgery can send your prescription directly to your nominated pharmacy. You will need to choose a pharmacy to collect your prescription from.

You can change your nominated pharmacy at any time:

  • on the app or website where you order repeat prescriptions
  • at your GP practice
  • at any pharmacy that accepts repeat prescriptions

Questions about your prescription

Your local pharmacists can answer questions about both repeat and over the counter medications.

The NHS website has information on how your medicine works, how and when to take it, possible side effects and answers to your common questions.

Medication reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, practice nurse or member of the clinical pharmacy team at least once a year to review these regular medications.

Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to future prescriptions. To book a medication review, please call reception.

What to do with old medicines

Pharmacies will accept old or unused medications. Please do not bring the medications to the surgery.
