GP/ Doctor Appointments
The Manor Surgery GPs are operating on a telephone triage basis.
- You will be booked in for a phone call initially with the GP by reception, who will take the reason for your call and may ask you some questions to triage your concern.
- Please note that the GP will only attempt to call you twice; if you miss the second call you will be asked to rebook your appointment.
- If the GP wishes to see you face-to-face they will arrange this with you on the phone.
We offer a same day GP appointment service for our patients. These are open from 8am and are booked on a first come first served basis via the telephone. We can also pre-book GP appointments up to 5 days in advance- these appointments are booked on a first come first served basis.

Face to Face Appointment Review
Whilst we appreciate our face-to-face contacts are down, our overall contacts are up significantly as many patients with busy lives are happy to be dealt with over the phone. Throughout the pandemic we have not closed our doors or stopped seeing patients face to face but using telephone triage have managed to increase the number of people helped and done this in as safe a manner as possible. Reducing the numbers of people in the waiting room proved challenging to protect the most vulnerable from risk of cross infection, but to those of you who have been, we hope you were pleased with the measures put in place. We also developed a new way of carrying out our max vaccination clinics which we have only had praise for, and we thank you for the positive feedback.
